Role Overview

The Project Manager ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements, including but not limited to, safety, quality, management, and financial performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all project related staff. Provide guidance and mentoring to meet all customer and company goals and objectives.
  • Manage the workload distribution and monitor the customer delivery and job installation progress.
  • Plan for, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
  • Reviews all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.
  • Participate in the bid process working closely with the sales team on project price points as required.
  • Act as the Company liaison for interface with General/Sub contractors, other project related trades, and AHJ’s.
  • Coordinate and manage all required City, State and Federal government required permitting.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in electronic security and life safety systems or a related technical or construction field and supervisory or managerial experience
  • Ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed associated tasks, and manage these to final completion and customer turnover.
  • OSHA 10 & 30 Certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of NFPA72 and NEC70 codes is a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
  • Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
  • Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.

Work Requirements

  • Frequent standing or walking on job sites required.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer for planning, documentation, and project management tasks.
  • Ability to drive to job sites, client meetings, and inspections as needed.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor job sites, construction zones, and mechanical rooms.
